The 1961 Chevy Impala said "welcome to the 1960s" in a big way because Detroit was headed in a new fin-less direction.

These Chevys were trendsetters because they were a clear departure from the space age 50s era.

They were cleaner, simpler and more contemporary than the '60 Impalas but the cutting edge style included the wafer thin bubbletop hardtop C-pillar from the earlier Chevys.

HAULING THAT HOLIDAY TRAILER BEHIND YOUR VINTAGE RIDE -- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Car guys travel hundreds of miles to shows and rolling in with a trailer.
