TEN REASONS WHY "LOST" IS BETTER THAN "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND"

ten things"Gilligan’s Island" was the first TV castaway program to invade the airwaves back in 1964. It was largely a cartoonish program that really appealed to kids because of the arrested emotional development of its lead character, Gilligan.

"Lost" showed up forty years later on TV and, by then, the game had changed.

Ten reasons why "Lost" is better than "Gilligan’s Island".

"Lost’s" ‘Kate' is even hotter than the wholesome 'Mary Ann' from "Gilligan’s Island".

Gilligan is a complete idiot. It would be difficult for him to survive even a few hours on the "Lost" island.

They have reliable indoor plumbing on "Lost".

Every meal on ‘'Lost" does not begin and end with coconuts.

The Professor may be smart, but he never did figure out how to romance the two available women on his island even though Ginger seemed somewhat agreeable to the concept.Dr. Jack and Sawyer both had that game covered in "Lost".

Mistakes made on "Gilligan’s Island" were never fatal, despite the fact that Gilligan was practically begging for death when he thwarted their 100th rescue attempt.

Mysticism on "Lost" involves several bizarre island forces that can destroy or restore life for its inhabitants. "Gilligan’s Island"had a bumbling mad scientist and a Dracula Gilligan.

"Gilligan’s Island" had a radio with the world’s best batteries. "Lost" has TV and Beta VCR which is at least a step up on radio.

Boats and helicopters actually land and leave with island people on "Lost",even if it’s sometimes done at gunpoint or after a firefight.

Hurley would easily take The Skipper down in a Cage Death Match-maybe even a belly-bucking contest.

JANET:"Sorry but, i've never watched Lost. Of course i remember Gilligans Island but, my participation would be worthless. Thanks for letting me know though"
