SOMERNITE'S CRUISE FEATURES TR-FIVE CHEVYS OCTOBER 21-23 SOMERSET KY.

Somernites Cruise is a huge monthly cruise-in held in Somerset, KY that will be hosting a special Tri-Five Showcase on Saturday, October 23rd during the regular Show & Shine. All Tri-Five models are welcome including wagons and trucks.
The event is entirely FREE and entrance gates open at 1:00pm (EDT). Somernites is a non-judged show that regularly attracts 1000+ show cars from several states. This is a multi-day event with a Friday night Block Party, Saturday Morning Fun Run, the Show & Shine and Cruisin' The Strip action all weekend long! On Saturday night, the local 'strip' becomes the focus of attention as thousands gather along the roadside to watch classics, antiques, musclecars and just about anything you can imagine, cruise the night away. This show is an absolute blast!

Thursday, October 21st, 7PM-????:
Tune Up Cruise-in at Dairy Queen on US 27 (stoplight #6) If you live locally or are planning on getting to town early, join as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales while enjoying some tasty ice cream! This is a very relaxing way to kick off the cruisin' weekend.
Friday, October 22nd, Noon-2PM:
Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center! 1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80 at the Pulaski County Convention & Visitors Bureau, stop by and say "hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great classic rock from Classic Hits Q97! Cruise Team members will be on hand and we would love to meet you!
Friday, October 22nd, 6PM-10PM:
Wal-Mart's Rock & Roll Block Party at The Center (stoplight #15) on US 27! Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy this fun, "must do" event for the entire family! Door prizes, contests, food, live bands and dancing! Over 300 show cars attend this event each month, don't miss it! Feel free to "cruise the strip" on Friday night as well! Cruise weekend is just getting started!

Satuday Morning Fun Run ***NEW LOCATION & TIME!***Hardee's South, stoplight #22 on south US 27!***
Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast before departing. We will depart at 9:00AM promptly for the October destination... Cumberland Falls State Park! Known as the Niagara of the South, umberland Falls forms a 125 foot wide curtain of water that plunges 60 feet into a gorge below, making it the 2nd largest waterfall in North America. This breathtaking scenic wonder is nestled in the rolling hills of south central KY and is definitely our most popular Fun Run of the year!
Saturday, October 23rd, 1PM:
Cruise Entrance Gates Open in Downtown Somerset for the Show & Shine!!! It's the last show of 2010!!! Blocks and blocks of show cars and trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all the chrome and horsepower, talk to car owners and enjoy the family oriented atmosphere!
Don't forget to visit our official merchandise trailer for the brand new 2010 t-shirts for adults and kids. In the Vendor Alley, you can sample great food, check out vendor displays and shop for new performance and restoration parts. There is plenty to see and do at Somernites Cruise and always a few surprises! You will enjoy the great cruisin' tunes all over town too! We also offer a Car Corral and a FREE hourly shuttle bus to local shopping centers!
October Specialty Area features Tri-Five Chevy's!!! Bel-Air's, Nomad's, 210 Coupes, wagons and more! We are rolling out the red carpet for 55-56-57 Chevy owners in our popular show-within-a-show specialty area this month! So, shine up that chrome, armor-all the tires and bring those beauties out! What says 'cruisin' better than a sharp Tri-Five Chevy rolling down the boulevard? If you are a member of a Tri-Five Chevy club, we encourage you to use this event as a mini-meet or group outing. We will gladly park your group together! Let's see all those Tri-Five cruisers!

Kids gotta have fun too right??? Located right in the heart of the Somernites Show & Shine is the Kids Kruze Zone with fun inflatables sure to put a smile on the faces of the entire family! This area is monitored, safe and best of all Mom & Dad...it's completely FREE! Kids can stay and play as long as they want! You will find the Kids Kruze Zone just north of Town Square in front of Citizens National Bank. This month's Kids Kruze Zone is sponsored by East Somerset Baptist Church!

We just love giving stuff away! So, starting at approx. 6:00PM on the Square in Downtown Somerset it's time to draw out some lucky winners! We have been selling tickets all year long on that sweet ***1966 Mustang Convertible*** sponsored by Alton Blakely Ford located right on 'the strip' here in Somerset and on the super Enclosed Car Trailer courtesy of GatorMade Trailers! Drawing for the trailer will be at approx. 6pm and will be closely followed by the Mustang drawing around 6:30pm. Hopefully you already have your tickets on both fantastic prizes! It's Saturday night so, it must be time to cruise! We know it's one of the main reasons you come to Somernites Cruise so, get your car out on "the strip" and cruise! Thousands of spectators watching from street side!
Tune your radio to Classic Hits Q97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night away! It's a blast! Please cruise in the outside lanes, be courteous and obey all posted traffic laws.
