Hot August Nights in Reno Nevada is a huge show by any standards and this is a look at a few examples of entries from a few years ago

The Reno show is a good example of how car shows can offer a huge cross section of vehicles-this is but a small sample from a few years ago at Hot August Nights...

NOVEMBER 2011 STARS OF THE SHOW-POST CAR SHOW SEASON REFLECTIONS

nov11aimgp0573-1Linus gets stiffed yet again by The Great Pumpkin at Halloween and car season officially ends in climates that don't have cities that have names that begin with "Los" and end with "Angeles".

In Canada November has the National Drunk/Grey Cup football game and the United States has Thanksgiving, but car shows disappear faster than drinks at an open wedding bar

They all have one thing in common- they're friendly, positive, family oriented, happy events. It's almost like Walt Disney patterned Disneyland after a car show vibe.

I was at one of the smaller events I've been to in 2011 where they packaged everything a car show could offer and held it in a real-life version of Mayberry.
