JANUARY 2010 STARS IN TRAFFIC-"OUT IN THE STREETS" SPRINGSTEEN WAS RIGHT

Back in the 1980s Bruce Springsteen released a song called 'Out in the Streets'.

He didn't really target old iron in that song but it sure fits because there is nothing like seeing classic rides out on the streets.

DECEMBER 2010 STARS IN TRAFFIC-UNIQUE VEHICLES IN A SEA OF BLAND

Let's be honest-new vehicles are incredible pieces of technology. They can do everything except drive themselves...and that will even change in a few years but one fact remains.

New cars are also really bland and boring on the outside.

That's why this old iron looks so outstanding in 21st Century traffic.

NOVEMBER 2010 STARS IN TRAFFIC- "ANYTIME, ANYWHERE...ANY PLACE

Car museums are a great concept because they keep the old iron around-particularly the rare old iron. There are vehicles that are so rare historically that the safest place is in a climate controlled , secure building.

Cars like that belong in an automotive zoo (museum) but seeing these classics on the street is like seeing a lion bring down a zebra on the Serengeti Plains of Africa.

It just looks so...natural.

That's why it's such a thrill to see the old iron on the street anytime, anywhere, any place.

Actually the old iron can be protected in bubble wrap but really...what's the point?

They were built to drive.
