Steve Parkin had a childhood fascination with busses-he loved these large, noisy, mass people haulers long before he could drive but his career choice was easy when he grew older.
He became a bus driver for a small city transit system. Then he started getting into the historical side of transit vehicles and the last piece of the puzzle-this rare 1971 30-foot GMC bus came up for sale.
STAR TRUCKIN’ 1967 FARGO LIFETIME WORKING STIFF–RETIREMENT NOT AN OPTION
Fargo was Chrysler Canada’s answer to the Dodge truck nameplate. Found in Plymouth dealerships, these rugged old workhorses, especially the 3 ton D-300s were often worked from day one to that last trip to working-truck heaven.
Otherwise known as a car crusher-there was no happy ending for these laborers.

SCARY RIDES A 1989 DODGE CARAVAN: A STONE-COLD TUNER CAR KILLER
Lee Iacocca saved Chrysler Corporation in the early 80s when he introduced the ultimate family wagon called the minivan. A new generation of young families bought these vehicles for very practical reasons that ranged from kid-hauling to grocery runs.
The little vans had function and practicality written all over them and Chrysler could barely keep them in stock.
But nowhere in the brochure was any mention of a bloodthirsty street monster option.

1946 CHEVROLET 2 TON- “CHUCK THE ABC TRUCK” A FOUR WHEELED MASCOT
Charles and Nicole Leclair run a family restaurant and they needed a promotional vehicle for their business.
Not a run of the mill minivan with a logo on the door. They wanted a late 40s-early 50s automotive something that would really stand out and this big old post war farm truck really fit the bill. This truck started out life on Oct. 10 1946 like most 2 ton trucks-working on a farm. It spent time in the rural world until the mid-70s when it was sent to summer camp.
