Debra Stoski was a typical teenager back in the 70s because her first car gave her the freedom and independence that comes with a new license and a new ride.
This was an era when you didn't look at a new Honda Civic as a viable option for a kid's first car-this was era when an affordable car like a mild mannered and gently used 4 door sedan.
In Debra's case the car was a '55 Plymouth.

JUNE 2013:1942 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY-ONE OF THE RAREST MOPARS ON THE PLANET
The 1942 Chrysler Town Country is known for its extreme rarity but it has another unique bookmark in its biography.
These cars were among the last civilian vehicles produced on the assembly line because World War II took over every form of mass production in North America
These '41-42 Town and Countrys were also the first steel roofed Woodies ever produced.

JUNE 2013: 1960 FORD STARLINER-THE COOLEST CAR THAT NEVER GOT THE PRESS
1960 Fords were great examples of cars that were probably too cool for the masses so they were labeled as not interesting for decades.
That was a big mistake.
These cars really came and went in a heartbeat but fortunately there are some hardcore believers in the 1960 Ford.

The humble Anglia became one of the most sought after cars at drag strips across North America because it was light and had the perfect wheelbase for the track.
Drag strip guys found that these Anglias were natural born Gassers so they went from very disposable to highly sought after in a few years.

Most car guys knew that the Chrysler Corporation bought into the finned look in a big way during the 50s.
The baby fins on the 1955 Plymouth were the base point for the rapid evolution into giant finned warriors by the time the 1960 Plymouth hit the showroom.
It was the stuff of winged dreams for devout Mopar fans who worshiped at the throne of Virgil Exner, the man behind the fins at Chrysler.
