My Star 1928 Model A-with the “duck hunter” Rumble Seat option

Boyd Gilbert was a Model A guy long before they became highly prized by collectors and hot-rodders alike. Boyd’s personal history goes back to the 50’s when a Model A was simply a really cheap used car.

He was a young guy then and an avid hunter so the natural use for a Model A roadster was as a rolling duck blind.

Troy Tanner is a disciple of the George Barris School of Car Customizing. He is absolutely an old school guy when it comes to building a car. This 52 Chevy is an incredible example of how dedication, hard work, talent and almost 2 decades can produce a show-stopping car. The Chevy’s body was literally pulled out of a flowing stream while the frame sat for years on the river bank.

Lucy Clark and Betsy Bird became an inseparable road team in November 2003 when Lucy purchased her coral- colored 1957 Ford Thunderbird and marked the beginning of a 45,000 mile friendship between the two. Lucy lives by the philosophy that cars are meant to be driven, so Betsy is no trailer queen.
