THE BIGGEST UNPUNISHED CRIME WAVE IN THE HISTORY OF MODERN SOCIETY

What would happen if beloved fictional characters were actually charged with crimes that they committed?

Here are some great examples-the results may surprise you.

Maurice "Moe" Howard was arraigned on 3217 charges of assault and battery stemming from a decades long association with sibling Jerome "Curly" Howard and long time entertainment colleague Larry Fine.

The ill-mannered Mr. Howard remained generally quiet throughout the reading of the charges- a process that took several hours. He appeared to occasionally mutter the words "knuckleheads" or "puddin' heads" as the felony charges were listed,

James Scott Rockford was arraigned on 313 charges of reckless endangerment as a result of a 4 year investigation. Most of these charges revolved around Mr. Rockford's operation of a motor vehicle although a significant number came from his association with members of organized crime.

In addition, Mr. Rockford was charged with 276 counts of false pretenses stemming from a period between 1974 and 79 during which Mr. Rockford operated as a private investigator. Among other things Mr. Rockford has allegedly pretended to be a police officer, FBI agent, oil tycoon and bank examiner.

Rockford remained silent as the charges were read. He glared occasionally at former associate Evelyn "Angel" Martin-a key figure turned state's witness. Martin is expected to have his own charges reduced in exchange for his extensive testimony against Rockford.

Homer Jay Simpson was arraigned on 515 counts of assault and battery on his 10 year old son Bartholomew "Bart" Simpson. Simpson is alleged to have violently choked his son on numerous occasions according to numerous eyewitnesses.

Simpson became very emotional as the charges were read alternating between fits of uncontrollable sobbing and angry, obscenity filled outbursts punctuated by cries of "must kill boy". It's expected that Simpson's counsel will enter an insanity plea.

To sum this up-we punish makers of video games and rap artists for their built-in nastiness but seriously...

who purveys more violence than these beloved fictional characters?
