20-YEAR-OLD GIRL GETS BANNED FROM EVERY PUB IN ENGLAND...AND WALES

The world is always looking for “firsts”, but this first may be a little different. A young woman named Laura Hall appears to be the first person in English legal history to be banned from every booze joint in England and Wales.

When you think about it, that is quite an accomplishment at a young age.

Apparently Laura is a world class bad drunk. She has a long history of drunken behavior even though she is only 20 years old. She may not have much going for her, but dedication to the cause is on her side.

Clearly Laura can put a task in front of her and climb her personal Mt Everest, even if her mountain is mostly composed of empty bottles.

The rules are very clear in Laura’s court ordered ban: Absolutely no public consumption of alcohol for two years.

Whatever Laura does must be done in private, when it comes to booze consumption and her resultant misbehavior.

I worked in the hospitality business for a long time. I saw some incredibly bad behavior over the years, so this story fascinates me. Just what in the world did this girl do to warrant a two year ban from bars? The answer would probably frighten me.

So I tip my glass to Laura Hall. You have me in awe for your accomplishment- and at such a young age. I would also like to add that I feel very fortunate that I didn’t serve you during your quest for the bad girl of booze world title.

Here’s an afterthought for Laura: The ban did not mention Scotland or Northern Ireland, and Ireland runs its own show.

Perhaps Laura can take her circus on the road and find a pub where nobody knows her name.
