TOM BROKAW EXPLAINS CANADIANS TO AMERICANS:REQUIRED VIEWING

Tom Brokaw is a very familiar and respected newsman who was an excellent anchorman for NBC Nightly News for 22 years. He was a man in the center of the action for many major events, including a marathon stint during 9/11 when the world needed a calm voice in the midst of chaos.

He comes from humble South Dakota roots where he absorbed a rural set of values that are largely immersed in common sense. Tom Brokaw is just the kind of guy you feel that you can naturally trust, whether on a TV screen, or in real life.

He was the right guy for a short news piece that explains the relationship between Canada and the United States about as well as anybody could in less than seven minutes.

Most of us on either side of the border couldn’t pull off this kind of insight in seven hours of video.
