I had another Star of the Week set up several days ago and it was a great choice until the Batmobile took over the press this week.

This wasn't just another custom car-it was a piece of our cultural history.

George Barris led an entourage to the stage with the Batmobile as the guest of honor and it reminded me of everything that was so cool and hip about the 60s.

George was a big part of that era and it was great to see a legend who's also a really nice guy bask in the glory of his creativity.

This was show biz at its finest and George was clearly up to the task.That was the best part because a whole new demographic knows who this customizing genius is- thanks to every known social media on the planet.

George Barris and his cool car were "trending" last night so he doesn't actually need MSCC Star of the Week but there was no other choice.

You are buying a vehicle that has done its time on the road and may now simply deserve a dignified send-off before it faces the crusher.

There is a big reality that I and many of my fellow humanoids have to face on a daily basis: We just aren't interesting enough to hold people's attention for long periods of time. It's not a huge crime to be boring; in fact it is infinitely more desirable to be a dull normal person over an interesting pycho-killer.

So we need a leg up in the charisma department and the cure for boring others to death may be found in a classic old vehicle.

You may be able to purchase a four-wheeled cure for a bland personality and we decided to compose a list of vehicles that will at least give you an interesting camouflage.

MSCC makes no judgment call on which vehicles are the most interesting so we will not put our list in any order. Instead we will simply list ten vehicles that will give us all a fighting chance not to bore people into a coma when we are behind the wheel of one of these babies.
